Black German Shepherd Solid
A black german shepherd solid is unusual and isn't usually found in a GS breed rescue for purebred dogs.
The dog is also known as the Alsatian; this name was given to the breed during the WWII in order to save the breed as everythin associated with Germany was forbidden in the United Stases. The dog is handsome and well proportioned. The coat of the dog comes in dark with tan, sable or all dark, but also can come in blue, liver and white, though those colors are considered a fault according to most standards. White is not an acceptable color though now the dogs colored white recognized as a separate breed.

Black German Shepherd Solid -
rescue, dogs
Buying such strong and intelligent dogs from unreliable sources may be dangerous, because pet stores and backyard breeders can not guarantee good health and temperament of their puppies. Only responsible breeders are concerned with the positive development of the breed. They screen the breeding stock for all disorders typical of the breed and don’t breed animals that can transmit their disorders to the offspring. The only way to obtain a high quality dog of this breed is purchasing from a reliable source and avoiding backyard breeders and pet stores.
