Canada Dog German Shepherd

The canada dog german shepherd breeder will usually have photos of the dogs available from the kennel. Up to the late 1800s, sheep herding dogs were randomly bred, and only those that worked well were selected. As the 20th century approached, a strict breeding program was undertaken in Germany to develop the current randomly bred dog into a more uniform herding dog with versatility and intelligence. The newly developed breed progressed and gained in popularity until the early 1900s. It was used in many ways, thus it used to be a herding dog, a guard, a police dog detecting drugs and as a rescue dog. The present-day breed is very far from its ancestors in terms of temperament, working abilities and appearance. Some lines of the breed preserved in Germany are closer to the old standard; they tend to be larger with a broader head and darker coat. These animals are hardier and less prone to disorders typical of the modern breed. This line is praised for its working ability, but it poses a greater challenge in terms of training. Fanciers of this type try to raise it to the status of a separate breed. Many American bloodlines are smaller with less sloping to their hips. The canada dog german shepherd breeder will usually have photos of the dogs available from the kennel.
